Can’t imagine being that reckless after being on the team when Ruggs killed someone doing the same thing

lol. Leaving Alabama to live in New Jersey sounds terrible to me.

 

I mean, as his Houston stay showed (and how short a time he was at Penn State...interviewing for jobs after 1 year), he thinks he's an NFL HC. Staying at Bama keeps him in college. Taking an OC job, especially one where the bar of "making the Jets offense better" is almost offensively low, thats how you get back in the game

 

Thing about Met Life is you can get on a train and within an hour be somewhere awesome. From Alabama, you borderline have to be on a plane for an hour to get somewhere useful.

 

Yeah I’d much rather live in Jersey than Alabama lol. Not to mention the politics alone might be worth it.

 

I mostly agree with this, but what he did with that team is different from proving to the owner that you have a long-term vision for the team and what staff he’d hire

With that said, I hope he’s still with the team in some capacity. All you kept hearing about was how much the players loved him and he helped take them to the playoffs so he’s already won over the players.
