Late to the good/bad coach talk but LaFleur is very much a TBD for me.

Yes, three straight seasons with no more than 4 losses each year is great and he has had to work with a roster this year with a lot of injuries but idk his planning for that Chiefs game without Rodgers was horrid and he had 10+ days to prepare, it’s not like it was the day before or a surprise and yet the offense was shit.

 

how are Ravens fans in general? Miami plays @ Baltimore this year, maybe I will check it out

LaFleur doesn’t get enough credit imo. 3 straight 13 win seasons and the first season Rodgers really wasn’t great but he finally got the Packers a creative run game. Then in his second and third years in the system I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Rodgers is having two of his best and most efficient years. The offense is no longer just Rodgers buying time and making plays, he’s throwing quick passes to guys that are schemed open and he is supported by a very good run game. It’s not like Rodgers is driving the production by himself, he barely threw for 4,000 yards each year the last few years including this year.
And you have to give LaFleur credit for keeping the team focused during Rodgers’ ridiculous bullshit all year. He lost to the Chiefs by a score with a qb who clearly wasn’t ready, it’s not that bad of a loss.

 

Oh no I support him as a coach and love the idea. I'm confused as to why it's only Houston and straight to HC.
