Hanging frames has to be the single worst task ever

By the same token, I wouldnt pay JuJu top WR money, or even really Corey Davis/Curtis Samuel level money to keep him around. That 1yr/$8mil was great, his market value is surely higher, but with how frequently we hit on mid-late round WRs for <$1mil/yr?

Diontae is the same scenario. I think his ceiling is higher than JuJu, so if you could get him to extend on a 3/$34mil type deal like Curtis Samuel, I'd probably take that. Maybe even more so if its "4 years" and years 3 and 4 are basically dummy years. If not, take his replacement with the 3rd round comp pick we get for JuJu, and take another WR with the 3rd round comp we get from Diontae to get ready to replace Claypool.

The big money AB extension flopped. We've done really well letting all our guys walk elsewhere, make $10+mil/yr and underperform. Save the money to rebuild the O-line in the immediate and the D-line in the mid-term

This is why I'm waiting for Ikea to have a specific frame back in stock, because it hangs with their 3M Adhesive type stuff and I dont have to deal with nails and hooks and shit

He strikes me as the perfect candidate to bring in as a HC with a very experienced DC with prior HC experience like Fangio

Lol it’s not even the physical hanging that sucks for me. We have like 7 frames my wife wants on the wall in a very specific way but she’s not sure exactly what that way is so I’m just guessing and testing.

I don’t see JuJu getting much considering how the last three seasons have gone for him. He’s dealt with so many injuries and that organization has gone on to prioritize Johnson and Claypool over JuJu.

I mean, they even let JuJu walk and there was that whole media story about JuJu turning down more money from the Chiefs and Ravens to play with the Steelers, which was likely to boost his image because he wasn’t finding what he was looking for in free agency.

Jarvis Landry kinda set the market for players like JuJu and Landry isn’t even really a WR worth writing home about anymore. You can blame it on QB play or the offensive scheme, but teams don’t usually (and probably shouldn’t) shell out a lot of money for players like Landry and JuJu because they’re possession receivers who operate best in the short to intermediate areas of the field, preferably from the slot.

Also, with a rise in cover 2 defenses across the league in recent seasons, I wouldn’t be surprised if teams are shifting towards more 12 personnel packages to bully defenses in the running game and try to attack linebackers in the middle of the field with tight ends. 12 personnel obviously kicks the slot receiver off the field more times than not.

Now we’ve seen Landry in that type of offense for a couple years now and I imagine JuJu would play a similar role in another offense (like the Eagles or Colts, for example), but is that a player you want to be dedicating $10-$12m of your cap space to when they might not be piling up receptions and yards because they’re potentially blocking more or aren’t even on the field at times in 12 personnel?

That’s the dilemma. I do like those players and they bring value to teams, but their ceilings just aren’t high. You think the Browns are stoked about the contract they gave Landry? I mean, they were probably expecting more. Maybe JuJu lands in a pass-happy offense, but it’s not easy to run an efficient passing offense through your slot WR (unless you have Tom Brady lol) so he likely won’t be the focal point of the passing game. As a result, it’s tough to justify paying him like he would be.

Yeah, I spent a hilarious amount of time getting mine right...Ive got them hanging in a 2x2 horizontal grid and then a vertical frame on each end. It looks cool, but getting each frame level and spaced SUCKED.

And the result was every other combo I did in this house all had the same finished height

I hate hanging most things on the wall. But shelves are the worst for me. No matter what, they’re always crooked.

I bought one piece of art for the wall in my current place and it has the dreaded hook at each end not just one in the middle and I totally fucking guessed and somehow got it to hang perfectly so I have never touched it and very carefully dust the top so it does not ever move and it will basically stay with this apartment because no way will I ever hang it correctly again

if there are 2 hooks on the back, put a piece of blue painters tape all the way across the picture. Mark where the hooks are on the tape. Take the tape off and put it on the wall, and put your nails through the marks on the tape.
