If Minshew had been not benched, or traded after season 1, value is probably higher. Also, drafting his replacement kind of kills the leverage

That said, I'd think like a 3rd seems about right. He definitely cost his team some games, but, that team was also the Texans, so hard to truly say how big that impact was.

 

I was so high on him and he still surprised me with how immediately good he is.

late to the party here, but the late touchdown to Jacoby against Denver to send the game essentially into overtime in the divisional round that year was a pass that gets picked off easily or at least knocked the fuck down 99% of the time and is one of the most hilariously bad plays a defender has ever made on a ball. Wild to imagine the alternative dimension of that pass is picked or knocked down - Ravens don’t win the Super Bowl and Flacco loses out on hundreds of millions of dollars. Crazy.
