Wilkins was really really good this year....I think I saw he had the most tackles of any interior DL in the past 5 years

I was hesitant on extending him but Miami needs to keep this DL together

Starting QBs Carson Wentz has objectively performed better than over the course of their current career stage/also over 2021:

Hurts
Lawrence

Players I’d argue Wentz was on level with:
Garoppolo
M.Jones
Tua

That puts him “better” than over 1/3 of the league, “better or on level with” 1/2 of the league, and a more desirable QB to roster than only about 5 or 6 guys on that list, which is a weird place to be

the cost of the 16th best QB in the league is probably correctly a first round pick, and also it makes sense to seriously consider upgrading from something like the 26th most desirable QB to roster one year later

I don’t care if this makes me sound like a homer. Give me Hurts over Wentz every day of the week. At least he’s not out there making asinine decisions with his left hand like it’s backyard football

I don't really care if Wentz is "better" than Hurts, because Hurts is 1000x more fun to watch and root for

 

I am floored that Derek Barnett is in the top 10 of DE win rate

 

Carson Wentz is also 29 and not cheap. He's not objectively a better option than Hurts at all.

 

Barnett graded pretty well everywhere I've seen

 

It’s absolutely whack considering he has only two sacks, 11 QB hits, and 22 pressures (per Pro Football Reference) despite playing the most games in his career this season
