Matt Rhule said Sam Darnold has similar value to Justin Fields.

Give him a lifetime contract. He's coaching to where football is going.

 

You hear a heck of a lot more about Zach Wilson than Teddy Bridgewater or Sam Darnold intra-season. Hell, Eli Manning was everpresent despite never being a top 5 QB.

Its key to note that say, going to an LA team would put him in a bigger market, but he'd still be an after thought.

But if there were a team in a major media market, with an owner with a shitty reputation and a penchance for buying big on FA's/Trades, who happens to be battling the woke mob with their team branding, and who happens to be close to politics...well, I could see him wanting into that scenario

I remember when people thought Wentz would have a bounce back season simply because he was reunited with Reich despite the fact that he was going to also be with Press Taylor, who coincidentally was his QB coach from 2018-2020 and notably had a friendlier relationship with Wentz because Wentz didn't want to be challenged (like he was with John DeFilippo in his first two seasons), which also happened to be around the time Eagles media and NFL film guys started to criticize Wentz for his poor mechanics and decision making.
