PFF has a stat for THIS. His percentage of dropbacks that were under 2.5s is second lowest in the class.

 

Fields takes care of the football for the most part, but he's gonna get killed in the NFL if he holds the ball.

If you aren't asked to process the entire field, it could a while to get there. I think he needs to go somewhere and sit, which is why I wouldn't touch him with a high draft pick.

Wilson will try to do too much at times, but he's gonna find that hole in coverage just about every time. He doesn't get fooled too often. Fields is just out there letting the press box tell him where to throw it and when it's not there, it's schoolyard football.

 

That’s what confuses me about anyone comparing darnold to wilson and not fields

 

I'd take him just because that's the nature of QBs in the draft. He'd be the third option for sure but what he does well is extremely encouraging. But yes, he absolutely needs to sit. Atlanta would be the best fit for him in that regard

 

Darnold to Wilson makes zero sense to me. In that same class Baker or Allen would be a more accurate comparison for Wilson.

 

Atlanta for Fields make too much sense so obviously it won't happen

 

Atlanta should 100000 percent take Ja'Marr Chase

 

It’s someone who just sees some highlights of him scrambling and making throws on the run, that’s it. The problem is the someone is getting six figures a year to cover football and is too lazy to watch more than a few highlight reels lol

I'm all for taking a RB in the mid to late 1st but even in hindsight, Derrick Henry would not have gone 4th.

I counted him at 8th giving him the benefit of the doubt on a few other matchups

 

1. Rams - Dak
2. Eagles - Bosa
3. Chargers - Stanley
4. Cowboys - Ramsey
5. Jags - Tunsil
6. Ravens - Henry

 

Maybe the Jags go Tyreek instead of Tunsil and the Ravens go Tunsil instead of Henry but the Titans still probably take him at 8.
