Forgive me if a version of this thread already exists somewhere but I couldn't see one. Post what music you're most looking forward to from the coming year. So far I'm personally not massively aware of what's on the way but I'm excited for Julien Baker in February and the Glaswing stuff from Aaron Marsh. Crossing my fingers for some new Paramore, Kendrick and Circa Survive at some point too.
The Dirty Nil (coming Friday but still) Tigers Jaw Bleachers The Maine You, Me, & Everyone We Know Citizen Senses Fail Circa Survive The Dangerous Summer Weezer Brockhampton Coheed & Cambria (hopefully) The Wonder Years (hopefully) Taking Back Sunday (hopefully) I'm definitely forgetting a lot but that's what immediately sticks out to me

I was thinking earlier, I wonder what the chances of a new Joanna Newsom album would be this year. Approaching 6 years since her last.

Julien Baker & Pale Waves are the first ones that come to mind. CHVRCHES will probably be good, too. Dunno how realistic Paramore is, but after Petals for Armor topped my 2020 list, I’m definitely interested in the full band’s next project. Might be alone in this, but if Taylor Swift actually releases a re-recorded version of the full Fearless album, that could end up being one of my favorite things I listen to this year, lol.
Of what is already announced or has been hinted at being out this year: Jade Bird, Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus, Snail Mail, Kississippi, Adult Mom, Another Michael, Buck Meek, For Your Health, Palberta, Indigo Sparke, Katy Kirby, Kali Masi, Baio, Arlo Parks, The Sonder Bombs, Sun June, Caithlan De Marris, Hospital Bracelet, Wild Pink

St. Vincent's going to do something wild and I can't wait to hear it. Pale Waves' two singles have been major steps up, so that's definitely a sleeper pick. In a similar vein, I'd love a new Charly Bliss record. Feel like Young Enough was massive and I'd like to hear what they come up with next.
