Could it really be hard for teams to have a camera set up at an angle over the plate to see if a player swung or not? I mean check swing calls have to be one of the hardest things to see/call for an ump so why not give them help? (Besides of course the ump union thinking the umps are perfect and never make a bad call and refuse these things).

 

I think umpires should simply start getting calls right.

Yup. The difference between light hobbyist and dedicated player at pretty much anything is so much bigger than we think. I planned Tennis for years. I played vs my buddy who is an amateur and I was literally terrified.
