forever sad Fielder didn't pan out well in Detroit. I loved him

 

Looking at Prince’s BR page it’s amazing just how many games he played every year before he got hurt in Texas. Played 162 games 4 times, 161 games once, 159 once, 158 twice and 157 once. Wonder if that could have been a factor as to why he didn’t do well in the post season.

Snitker is fine. As I've said before, there are no "good" managers, just bad managers and managers. Seems like he's just a manager and that's just fine. Apart from that one weird time where he kinda threw Acuña under the bus publicly (someone correct me if my memory is wrong) he seems like he has a good enough relationship with their young players which is what really matters.

 

Snit makes some questionable pitching decisions but I like him overall.

All I remember of the Acuña situation is him getting benched for standing and watching what ended up being a single like it was a 500 foot bomb and then doing the same shit in the playoffs.

Snit prob could have handled talking about that with the media a little better considering Ronald also almost went 40/40 that year...but he was also ready to fight every single marlin when those clowns kept throwing at Ronald so I think they’re prob ok.

I mean I'd hope the Cubs wouldn't let Baez get away, that would be soul-crushing for their fans, but I dunno given how that franchise has behaved recently

 

Also I believe Semien is on a one-year deal and would be in that FA class as well right?

 

I think theyd retain Baez because theyre 110% losing Bryant likely before the season even ends.

 

Baez and Bryzzo all deserve statues and should never play anywhere else
