So Mickey Callaway is still the Angels pitching coach? I don’t remember reading anything about him since the initial news broke and the Angels were going to investigate.

 

From what i heard on local sports radio is that, nobody in the angels organization ever expects him to work for them in any capacity again, and theyre even on the move interviewing new pitching coaches, but yeah bc of california labor laws or something, theyd be looking down the barrel of a wrongful termination lawsuit 5 minutes after firing him, so theyre letting MLB do its investigations and work out the process however slow it takes, but he remains on payroll.

 

Thanks for the update. Makes sense then. I figured he’d get fired eventually but haven’t heard anything on it in forever.
