He really doesn't put much thought into his bullpen moves at all. Like, he views every member of the bullpen as the same and interchangeable with one another. High leverage situation... just spin the wheel and see who it lands on and that's how he decides.

To start the year, Glasnow has obviously put up some incredible numbers. What is encouraging, in addition to his performance, is the fact that Cash has not handled him in the sort of predictable way that we’ve come to expect. He has left him in during situations that would normally go to the bullpen on already 2 occasions.

Like, Glasnow just went 7.2 innings, 101 pitches, 0 runs, 14 strikeouts.

No way is Glasnow throwing 101 pitches in his third start of a season, normally. And when he let the lead off guy on in the 7th, there was still no activity in the pen.

Just super cool to see that maybe, at least with our ace, there is some flexibility with the normal handling of the staff. Let Glasnow deal.
