With the 25th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select Kwity Paye, EDGE, Michigan



The Dolphins traded one of their starting EDGE rushers to Houston earlier this offseason for Bernardrick McKinney which leaves a hole in the starting lineup across from Emmanuel Ogbah. Paye has the athleticism and power to be productive right away at the NFL level and could be a nice addition to Brian Flores' defense.

Christian Barmore, DT, Alabama.

the Ravens lost some key players this offseason for sure. But an underrated huge need for them is on IDL. Everyone on the line is 31 or older and expendable contract-wise.

Barmore is the kind of DL that can literally rotate allllllll over the line, including playing 3-4 nose tackle in some formations and a 4-3 DE position in others. Barmore is aggressive as all hell and gets downhill FAST for a big man. He got a ridiculous amount of pass rush despite having a lot of run defense responsibility... and is honestly my favorite of a long line of great DTs from Bama in my time scouting players (2013-2021.)

I think he’s honestly still being underrated and is a very possible pick for New England at 15. He has that Richard Seymour skillset. Barmore really fits as a Raven too, and id love this pick for them if JAX didn’t take him.

He can rotate. That defense is big on rotation. I’m not saying he’d take more than 10% of his snaps at nose. it would probably be in weird blitz packages or something. Maybe 1-technique roles instead of 0 technique. Etc
