Lance falling to the teens turns out to be a blessing for him as he will now be playing in a system that could be perfect for him. As a Panthers fan, this pick makes me feel things. Bad things. But it's such a good fit for Sean Payton and the Saints so I had to do it.

ANYWAY. We didn't get to trade down like we hoped, but this time around we didn't have to trade Stephon Gilmore to get Jimmy G which makes CB less of a need. Hightower is coming back but he's gotten pretty old and been away from football for a year. The Patriots take a LB who can do it all, and learn from a Patriot great along the way. A defensive front 7 that includes young guns like Uche, Winovich and Collins is pretty solid.
