Panthers have traded pick 8 and pick 114 for picks 27, 132, and Orlando Brown Jr

Ravens fielding phone calls for Trey Lance, a corner, or something else. We’d ideally like to move back down to the teens.

 

The two best tackles in this class are off the board. A trade back here is very likely with a couple QBs and WRs on the board. The Panthers find a trade partner that happens to have a high level LT available. We find our new franchise LT and still have a first round pick in this draft. Brown needs to be resigned, but the Panthers are about to have a ton of cap space. It shouldn’t be a problem.

The Ravens have traded pick 8 back down to the Browns for picks 26, 90, and a 1st and 3rd next year.

Now we’re talking. THATS good value for Orlando Brown. Between the two trades I ended up moving up a spot in the first, moving up 18 spots in the fourth, plus adding a 3rd this year and a 1st and 3rd next year.

This is probably the perfect trade for the Panthers. We could have Brown and Moton on each side for years. I still have a first and an early second to continue building each side of the line.

They have a good offense but haven’t had any consistency at the QB position. Of the options left, they choose the more “ready now” prospect of the two.
