Imo he’s a rotational guy but he could be very good at that. Could be a really good third down interior rusher while you work on his run defense

One of those guys who looks too slow to play tackle on tape, but the flip side of that is the skills he does have translate extremely well to guard. He definitely likes to block nasty and get under people, his tape is relentless, he will literally smack the shit out of two people in one play no problem. He likes to pull block and get up to the second level. It’s all there for Lamar’s read option plays.

Brandon Williams is very cheap for the team trading for him but leaves the Ravens with 11.4MM in dead cap. Trade is unlikely.

 

Clears up $7.5M for the Ravens and gives them a draft pick. Ravens like to keep vets but, this is a clear situation where the cap hit does not fit the role, and where the whole IDL is aging so it’s time to start moving on.

Let another team take on that $7.5Mill and sign him to a more team friendly deal after this season, I believe Alim McNeil can play nose. I would agree that trading him is unlikely if I didn’t get a really good prospect at that position in this mock

 

Where are you seeing the Ravens clear 7.5 if they trade Brandon Williams?

If they trade him at the draft he costs them 11.4MM in dead cap and only frees 1.5MM. And he's an UFA next year.
