Okay so a writeup on Sam Ehlinger. I truly believe you should draft a QB every single year. Maybe if you have Mahomes you can take a year or two off, but pretty much everyone else should always have a plan in place. Jimmy G is the primary plan, but he's hurt often and he's already like 30, which is funny to me. Stidham doesn't have it. So we bring in a young QB who checks all the intangible boxes, who has familiarity with the Erhardt-Perkins offensive system, and can make his bones on quick, rhythm based throws. Sounds like an offense I know of.

I'm still so freaking mad about this one. That's twice the Vikings in particular have messed up my plan.

 

Sam Ehlinger is an emigma. His numbers are elite when facing a blitz but otherwise complete ass.

Raiders pick is a huge steal

 

I had Werner lined up for whoever my next pick was haha

 

This feels like a really good draft class to grab a LB in the late day 2/early day 3 range

 

There's tons of sneaky good talent at LB, especially coverage linebackers

 

I think IDL is getting a little underrated. It may not be top heavy but there are several good players available in rounds 2-5.

 

IDL stinks at the top but there's 6 to 8 guys that will be really good picks on Day 2.

 

Patriots pick Talanoa Hufanga, S/LB/Nickel/Whatever, USC

Bledsoe was the pick, but the Vikings jumped me, so here we are. What stands out to me for Talanoa is his versatility, and his ability to lineup throughout the defense. He's honestly a perfect replacement for the recently retired Patrick Chung. He'll also be able to contribute on special teams which helps because Matthew Slater is getting up there in years, and is approaching the end of his hall-of-fame career.
