Y'all gonna let him fall this far then here's my Orlando Brown Jr solution right here. I did this last time but 22 picks earlier.



Christensen will be a 24 year old rookie, I acknowledge that. He's still one of the best tackle prospects in this draft. His tape is great, he tested well, he's 6'6" with length and fast, his kickslide is clean and broad, he will get under you and roll you over yourself if you get caught sleeping on a running play. He was always the starter at left tackle for one of the top two QB prospects in this draft. After Sewell, Slater, Darrisaw, Jenkins, Cosmi come off the board, Christensen is EASILY the next guy I trust most to both deal with speed rushers and maul guys in the running game.

The Ravens in this case can't wait on a guy to learn techniques and to learn how to be mature. They did well to trade Orlando Brown Jr early and get a haul of value for him instead of losing him for nothing, but they need to replace him right now, not later - their interior line is not good enough to compensate.

With Christensen they are getting more of a sure thing, and even at 24 he still gets the same 4 years of being affordable. The life cycle of offensive linemen tends to be longer than other positions, so the Ravens could still theoretically be getting a 10-12 year franchise player here.

Exactly — Melifonwu is such a Colts’ corner. Big/lengthy, has the intangible leadership/Senior Bowl stuff and far enough down the “consensus” big board that he might not be everyone’s next corner off the board over guys like Asante Samuel but also not so far down that anyone is gonna actively question it.

I still think Leatherwood or Eichenberg is the guy for the Colts but I like Cosmi more, so I cheated and took him instead :)

And my next pick I have lined up fits another Colts prospect archetype so well so we’ll see if he lasts to my third rounder
