Wyatt Davis is still a great player to draft at this point but it’s just disappointing to not get Basham. He’s one of my draft favorites.

 

Jacksonville Jaguars select Joseph Ossai, LB, Texas

Continuing the BPA philosophy. Ossai isn't BPA on my aggregate board but I am putting more weight into the fact that the Jaguars have met with him, Ossai has mentioned them by name as a team that's very interested, and he has a good relationship with Chris Ash (and I'm pretty sure Charlie Strong was in on him at Texas too but idk if that timeline matches up). This move makes a lot of sense as we move to a hybrid defense. A rotation of Allen/Chaisson/Ossai should be real fun.
