With the 37th pick in the 2021 Chorus Mock Draft v4, the Philadelphia Eagles select Richie Grant, S, UCF.

The Eagles have a severe lack of young talent in the secondary and it makes sense to give former secondary coach Jonathan Gannon some help there. Rodney McLeod will be 31 this year and is coming off two major knee injuries over the past three seasons. Anthony Harris is on a one year deal and may not be affordable next offseason. Grant is an older prospect, but he produced in college and should be able to step in right away and contribute.

  9. Dallas has already paid Cooper big money and have Lamb ready to go as the #2 (maybe even as the top guy soon). Gallup needs a new contract and I don't see how or why Dallas would match market value in free agency. Getting a solid pick in this deep draft seems like a good move.

I would have made a run at Gallup had I not taken Smith

Also probably unrealistic for the Cowboys to trade him within the division

  13. Carolina Panthers select Pat “Baby Gronk” Freiermuth, TE, Penn State

Freiermuth has really grown on me the last couple of weeks. I don’t claim to be a scout or anything but there are little things I notice from him that really stick out to me. He lined up all over the field at Penn State including a lot of pre-snap motions. I noticed that when coming out of the backfield, or if he was motioned from the backfield closer to the line, that he was really smart about selling the run before breaking into his route. This isn’t groundbreaking stuff but the combination of the sell job plus his already great route running ability can cause problems. He is also a giant target. Not super athletic, but he has big play ability due to his his size, route running, and catch radius. He’s shown the ability to go up and win the jump ball on several occasions.

I think his versatility is a bit understated because he is in Pitts’ shadow right now. I think a creative OC like Joe Brady can do a lot with Freiermuth. The Panthers also signed Dan Arnold this offseason who I believe is a sneaky good signing. Freiermuth and Arnold are both able to line up anywhere on the field and would allow a lot of interesting 2TE sets for the offense.

That's who the Chargers were trying to trade up for.

  15. Broncos select Nick Bolton LB, Missouri.

I'll write something up later but basically, the Broncos suck at covering TEs and RBs and Bolton can help there.

Lions select Elijah Moore, WR Ole Miss

we have one of the worst receiving corps in the league right now. Moore can step in right away and help fix that issue.
