I'd be interested but I'm not sure we have picks that match up

Trent Baalke and Urban Meyer have both said their philosophy in the draft will be take the best player available. They went through free agency with this philosophy in mind, as they added depth at every position of need. Trevor Lawrence was BPA obviously. Christian Darrisaw was too, even if that was a little bit of a deviation - I don't think the Jaguars trade up. My big board is not complete and I have no clue what the Jaguars are truly thinking so for BPA purposes I'm going off of my media aggregate board. Consulting that and the pick makes a lot of sense for a number of reasons.

    1. The Jaguars have already publicly said they will be addressing this position in the draft and are specifically looking for the skillset he offers.
    2. There is familiarity and chemistry here and that is incredibly valuable.
    3. He's a receiving weapon that will also fortify our run game.
    4. He's BPA. That's the rule they said they're following so I'm following it too.

  8. ***Trade***

The New England Patriots trade pick 178

The Houston Texans trade Keke Coutee

The Pats ring up an old friend and see if a change of scenery and an improvement in coaching can unlock the potential Keke Coutee has. He’ll have an opportunity to get on the field as both a WR and a returner with Edelman out of the picture. Ideally, if healthy, Keke is a tough receiver for Jimmy G to overthrow. It’s prob a bit of an overpay but it’s a comp pick that I didn’t even initially get so oh well.

  9. Pats WR Room:

    Bourne
    Agholar
    Harry
    Myers
    Gunner
    Keke

It’s not good, but it’s significantly better.

With the 36th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select Javonte Williams, RB, North Carolina

Miami missed out on Najee and will not miss out on arguably the next best RB in the class after being sniped each of the past few years.

    J. Williams, M. Gaskin, and M. Brown make up a formidable RB trio that will hopefully help to jumpstart the Miami running game

I like Javonte, Miami should definitely pass on Najee just because I don't think the drop off is huge between the top two guys and the next two guys.

If anyone is looking to move down, Chargers are looking to move up.
