Atlanta Falcons select: Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida.

San Fran still has three of the guys they want on the board, can't really drop much further than that. They get a bump in the second and a third round pick in addition. Trade value chart calls this about even.

Yeah I was tempted by that and Miami's trade offer, but as SF I didn't wanna fall too far. The QB rush pushed guys up the board which sucks for them but.

I disagree, Carolina should be seeing Philly and Detroit as threats to take Lance ahead of them - they both just got rid of their franchise QBs. I don’t think Jalen Hurts deters the Eagles from bringing somebody else in if they don’t even need to trade up, and I definitely don’t see Jared Goff as a long term solution. In fact, both teams offer Lance the valuable ability to sit and learn, which is vital for a D-II player making that jump in competition.

Carolina should also be seeing Denver as a threat to leap frog them for Lance. Especially if the Patriots already moved up for Fields at 4... pick 5 becomes much more valuable than what was traded for it here.

Let’s not make a HABIT out of trading with ourselves, but I could easily see SF moving down and could easily see someone else trading up to 12 if Pitts is still there.

Drew Lock is not good... and the Lions only took Goff as a contract move because it was the only way they could get those picks out of LAR

 

Why would the Lions take on Goff in that trade and then take someone at 7

Detroit just traded for Jared Goff. Denver is running it out with Lock. I know Allbright isn't the GM but dude is losing hair over telling people they aren't trading up for a QB and I believe that.

 

becuase LAR probably wasn’t trading for Stafford without getting rid of that Goff contract.

It was still worth the draft picks for Detroit but it doesn’t mean Goff was a key part of the trade for Detroit
