drafting a QB who can move and improv is also a viable way to address the problem.

I also don’t think drafting a line is gonna make Goff anywhere close to worth his contract

Like, I feel like people are putting too much stock into a contract that is 100% a sunk cost and 100% only taken on by the Lions so they could get several picks as well

That’s not how a restructure works. You can’t take money away from a player lol. It literally just moved it around for accounting purposes

- restructure that QB, effectively extending him one season and making him unmoveable for two years
- draft a QB in the top ten????????

Pretty sure the Panthers offered #8 plus Teddy and like a 3rd.....I know the two firsts are nice, but neither will be close to top 10 and Teddy's contract is basically for one more year. They had other options. They chose Goff.
