Ravens select Dez Fitzpatrick, WR, Louisville.

I never liked Hollywood Brown as a WR1 for Lamar. Outside of that, the Ravens absolutely refuse to truly invest in the position, doing no better than Sammy Watkins and Willie Snead.

this is a nice compromise - it’s very Ravens to wait until round 4, but this was Lamar’s leading weapon his final year at Louisville. Someone he already might have chemistry with. He’s got a big body and nice separation skills.

Scouts have him falling because his production dropped off... but going from Lamar Jackson to trash at the QB position just MIGHT have played a part in that maybe. He went off at the Senior Bowl with 6 catches for 90 yards and a TD in very limited time showing he can handle the competition. He’s also 6’2”, ran 4.43 and 4.45 dashes, and has a 35” vertical so no athletic concerns.

I would consider this a slam dunk mid round pick for Baltimore especially if it came from a trade down.

  3. Swoos traded down with GB and got the pick from KC

    Alright easy fix.

jags traded up to 29 for Sam Cosmi with Green Bay to begin with (I would have done this even if KC didn’t trade up, and GB still gets to keep the pick I gave them.)

KC stays put at 31 to take Gregory Rosseau.

137 remains in possession of the Baltimore Ravens for the second time it was traded.

    What?

Just let the ravens pick at the end of the round so we don’t have to re-do 100 picks lol

If you erase the KC / GB trade in round 1, nothing else about the draft has to change, that’s all I’m saying. Just swap picks 29 and 31 and give 137 to the Ravens to reflect the second trade. I think @ClarettsGreyGoose would’ve took Farley there either way so it’s the exact same thing.

@PeacefulOrca If you want, to compensate for the difference, the Jags give GB pick 145 instead of pick 171 (to trade up to 29 instead of 31 for Cosmi)

  8. So who’s pick is it right now? Lol

    @uuu

    Atlanta

also, Jags offer 131 and 146 to move up here.

Boom. Falcons have traded pick 109 to the Jacksonville Jaguars for picks 131 and 146

Jaguars select Michael Carter, RB, UNC.

some lightning to James Robinson’s thunder.

Carter led the FBS in YPC among runningbacks with over 60 carries last season. He also led the power five with the most carries for 15+ yards. The guy is a home run hitter, who has incredible vision and contact balance, and can also play passing downs very well. I had other weapons in mind but with Carter falling to round 4 this is the one I want. He’s a perfect third down spread back.

give them DL what’s left? they could take Ta’Quon Graham, Texas.

I'm probably going to have to bow out of this thing at some point tomorrow.

We are driving out to Far West TX (Big Bend, Marfa, Alpine) and then off to New Mexico for a few days. Probably won't have the best service out there.

    @Swoos

lmfao you've literally taken a target of mine in every round with the Titans.

took KaDarius Toney from JAX round 1,
took Brevin Jordan from DAL round 2,
took Quincy Roche from BAL round 3

You are the perfect person to draft for TEN if for no other reason than the fact you literally always thwart my plans LOL

it’s okay if y’all wanna stop at this point though I’m pretty happy with my drafts.

  17. Looks like a good place to call it tbh

  18. Panthers:
    Kyle Pitts, TE
    Wyatt Davis, IOL
    Sam Darnold (trade)
    Anthony Schwartz, WR

    Football Team:
    Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB/S
    Liam Eichenberg, OT
    Dylan Moses, LB
    Deonte Brown, IOL
    N’Keal Harry (trade)

    Titans:
    Kadarius Toney, WR
    Brevin Jordan, TE
    Hamsah Nasirildeen, S
    Quincy Roche, EDGE

    Chiefs:
    Gregory Rousseau, EDGE
    Baron Browning, LB
    Spencer Brown, OT
    Gardner Minshew (trade)

I think I nailed the Titans and WFT drafts. Love everything about both of those. The Panthers draft is solid, but it’s just super risky with the Darnold move. But my other option at QB was Mac Jones, so in this scenario I like the move. And the other players I drafted appear to be good moves. Would be a fun draft at least. The Chiefs draft probably ranks 4th of these, but I still like it. Avoiding OL for so long probably isn’t a good idea but I think those first two picks would help their defense evolve into a real problem.

    Ravens

    Brady Christensen, T, BYU
    Creed Humphrey, C, Oklahoma
    Patrick Jones II, EDGE, Pitt
    Rashod Weaver, EDGE, Pitt
    Osa Odighizuwa, IDL, UCLA
    Dez Fitzpatrick, WR, Louisville

(probable next target: Paris Ford, S, Pittsburgh or one of Sage Surratt, D’Wayne Eskridge, Seth Williams or Trevon Grimes depending who falls)

this is a perfect draft for them. Yes I should’ve got more value out of Orlando Brown. For the purposes of realism we can pretend the actual Ravens would’ve also added a next year second rounder to the offer I received lmao.

    Cowboys
    Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina
    Daviyon Nixon, DT, Iowa
    Cam Sample, DT, Tulane
    D’Ante Smith, T, East Carolina
    Caden Sterns, FS, Texas

(probable next pick: Hunter Long, TE, Boston College).

3rd round was painful haha. Yes I was mostly complaining & being childish about Grant but @Night Channels also swiped Tommy Tremble, who I was gonna take immediately after the JAX pick for Dallas. I also originally targeted Brevin Jordan because Dallas apparently loves him, but he didn’t fall to me either.

It’s too bad I was being lame because I could’ve picked Elijah Molden and filled their need for more competition at slot CB and safety at the same time. Instead rivals Philadelphia got him, that’s what I get lol

i like the rest of the draft but I would’ve needed to trade up for Hunter Long to avoid missing on their huge TE need - Long isnt super athletic but he comes down with tough grabs and knows how to block so that was the last guy still worth taking.

    Jaguars

    Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson
    Christian Barmore, IDL, Alabama
    Sam Cosmi, T, Texas
    Pat Freiermuth, TE, Penn State
Jordan Smith, EDGE, U of Alabama/Birmingham
    Jamar Johnson, FS, Indiana
    Michael Carter, RB, UNC

(Probable next targets: either Rodarius Williams, CB, OkSt, D’Wayne Eskridge WR central Michigan, or Divine Deablo SS Virginia tech)

If I would’ve got Grant that would’ve been literally 7/7 of my primary targets, but @CarpetElf is right that Jamar Johnson is very good also. This literally fills every gap that’s still a major issue after our aggressive free agency. If I would’ve got Grant, I would’ve given myself an S grade or something because that’s even better than an A+ lol

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

    Lions:
    Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama
    Levi Onwuzurike, DT Washington
    Richie Grant, S UCF
    Keith Taylor, CB, Washington

I’d be pretty happy with it

    Chazz Surratt

Pretty, pretty pretty good. Pair this with the aggressive free agency and I’d feel real good about this season.
