Kansas City Chiefs select Spencer Brown, OT, Northern Iowa




Kansas City finally addresses the glaring hole at offensive tackle and it might be a massive steal at this point in the draft. Brown is a little bit of a unique OT prospect. He is a ridiculous athlete. Played two sports in high school and came into his college career undersized for his position. He put on 100 pounds but maintained his athletic advantages over his opponents. Great footwork, arm length, and strength. His pro day likely caught the attention of a lot of teams and I’ve seen some mocks with him moving up the boards pretty fast. He seems to be a very high ceiling, bust potential guy. But late in the 3rd it’s hard to pass on his athleticism and upside.

 

Bucs are next and they are group pick. We’ve gone RB and QB so far for them. Should we go OL next? Secondary depth?

 

Where would they need secondary depth

 

We gave the Bucs a QB as if they don't have 10 more years of Brady.

 

I don’t know they don’t have any needs out side of OL tbh so I was just throwing out random stuff haha

Jay Tufele? TDN lists IDL as a need and he's the highest ranked IDL that is available.

 

Yeah he actually works nicely. He is better than a late third pick and they need some depth inside.

I have class to go to so I can’t write a description but this was my plan all along - Weaver AND Jones II from Pitt. Keep that chemistry going. Replaces Matt Judon and Yannick Ngakoue. Sweet.
