Harry has simply been bad. It was a bad pick and continuing to devote time developing him is just putting good money after bad. Time to focus on all the new toys, and cut bait with Harry, who is probably gonna be a monster in WFT.

 

They 100% should take Trask or Mond.

 

Speaking from experience, being left in a Brady-less vacuum sucks.

Alright whatever the Bucs take Kellen Mond, QB, Texas A&M. It IS an excellent place for him to learn and this is a reasonable spot for him to come off the board. I wanted to give them Trask but that’s just Brady Bias haha, Mond is the better prospect imo

im risking losing my biggest target in the next few picks here, but 1) I have a lesser known backup plan in case 2) adding pick 74 gives me a solid chance I still get him

if I had my way, my team would draft a pass rusher every year. Depth and rotation at the position is important, and the best pass rushing teams do it like this: drafting really high potential, projection based studs in the mid rounds constantly... and keeping that competition fierce in camp, so that the most dangerous and consistent players who respond best to coaching, can set themselves apart.

If Gregory Rosseau is a first rounder based solely on traits and one 2018 season, Jordan Smith is value here - hes literally just as long and explosive, just played lower level of competition. Behind Paye and Rosseau, Smith is the scariest athlete at the position and I’m very comfortable taking a chance on that at the top of round 3. Especially cause Joe Cullen clearly knows how to coach ‘em. Smith has a lot to learn, but his combination of body type and burst is honestly ridiculous. He gave even the best linemen trouble in one on one reps at the Senior Bowl.

Ideally Josh Allen and K’Lavon Chaisson are already solid 3-4 OLBs, and this gives us a third guy to take the top off and make sure we always have fresh rushers. An extra pass rusher who is also explosive is a great luxury to have. However, our pass rush wasn’t good last year - I still 100% believe in Josh Allen but it’s time to add more talent at that OLB2 spot. Worst case scenario, Chaisson struggles to transition to the new alignment and Jordan Smith can be groomed to take his place.

Smith has potential to flop, but he’s one of those prospects whose ceiling is so high I can’t resist potentially developing a future double digit sack guy here.

Also, I really thought about just taking Devonta Smith with Dallas... and I probably could've got away with passing on Horn and still drafted Samuel or Melifonwu. Devonta Smith and Ceedee Lamb and Michael Gallup LMFAO. That would just be a fucking elite, top 3 in the league WR corps by 2023
