I'm pretty sure he checks this site once per morning at like 630 - 7 AM during the week.

I won't be awake until hours after that, so if he accepts my trade again you can just assume I'm doing the same as last mock and quote my same write-up from earlier in the thread.

Bills guy hasn't been online for over a day now. I think we can move forward soon.

Buffalo is the kind of team that can take a risk on someone like Caleb Farley

This draft is showing me how much the Panthers should be trading up for a QB.

  16. I'd rather not pay anything close to the price SF paid to move up.

I mean that makes sense, you can just draft one at two next year haha.

  18. Eh, we won't be that bad. If anything we'll be better than last year.

The packers would consider moving down again

  20. I'm not completely against trading up. I like at of these QBs, but I still acknowledge they all come with their own risks. Lance has played one season of lower level competition. Fields was fairly inconsistent this past season and his stinker games are concerning. Jones has the stats but was throwing to open receivers every game. None of them are worth trading what SF did to get the #3 imo. And I'm definitely not moving up to #4 without knowing who will be there.

Sam Darnold is still young enough to bring in and develop. He also comes with some NFL experience. A lot of the lifestyle and work regimen adjustments that these rookies will have to make, Darnold has already been through. And I think that matters. He has just as much of a reward as these 3 rookies but comes at a much lower risk. We trade a 3rd for him, if he just flat out sucks, then ok, whatever, 3rd rounders bust all the time. It won't be nearly as devastating as giving up a future 1st plus more for a guy who could just as easily bust. And like I said with my Pitts pick, Darnold would be walking into a very good situation.

After seeing the SF trade, I am fully onboard with Darnold instead of paying a big price for one of the rookies.
