Carolina Panthers select Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida



I’m not really convinced we’d reach on Mac Jones when there is a guy as talented as Pitts sitting there at a position of need. I think Pitts is as safe of a pick as there is. Guaranteed impact player. The Panthers don’t get their QB but they keep building talent so that when they do find their guy, he will be walking into a good situation.

Carolina Panthers trade 2021 3rd and 2022 4th and Tommy Stephens to the New York Jets in exchange for Sam Darnold

Speaking of which, Sam Darnold becomes a logical option with how the draft played out. Darnold has gone through hell with the Jets but he has talent. By coming to Carolina, he teams up with a young innovative OC and is surrounded by the likes of CMC, DJ, Robby, and Pitts.

This would also create quite the QB competition with Teddy. Who would now be on the block and reportedly teams have already been calling.

The New England Patriots have traded CB Stephon Gilmore to the San Francisco 49ers for QB Jimmy Garoppolo.

Trading Steph hurts but this move frees up cap space to restructure Jimmy G and fit him in. Steph is prob getting traded anyway so doing it this way allows me to retain all my draft capital and still get the Patriots younger along the way.
