    Hell yeah.

    The Buffalo Bills have traded pick #29 to the Jacksonville Jaguars for picks #33 and #130 (originally from LAR)

    Jaguars select Sam Cosmi, T, Texas.

    I honestly was not looking to trade up, but this is a completely ideal fit of value and need. In reality I don’t think any of the quality tackles are falling this low, and Teven Jenkins going where he did ended up working out in my favor.

    but damn, a great pass blocking prospect, who has great feet and technical consistency, at pick 29? Fuckin sign me up, sorry Mahomes I gotta protect TLaw too. If anything it’s usually the slower power blockers who struggle with speed rushers that fall lower, which is exactly my issue with Cam Robinson... so I had to pull the trigger to get a great athlete here.

    Cosmi may lack some of the functional strength that other blockers who are comfortable in gap schemes have, but he’s a great fit for the spread-heavy offense we are likely to run. This is also a very common flaw among first round linemen from spread / zone teams - functional strength can be built, he doesn’t lack it to an alarming degree.

    In my opinion the footwork and hand placement are the hardest things to get right and he pretty solidly has both compared to most rookie linemen. Cosmi would be an early first rounder in some drafts, this draft class is special with Sewell and Darrisaw.

    I really don’t like Cam Robinson enough to sign him to that long term deal. Franchise tagging him feels more like a contingency plan because he still has all the same issues he had as a rookie. It’s the perfect scenario for drafting Cosmi - we address the problem BEFORE we are desperate, and likewise Cosmi has a lot less pressure considering he doesn’t have to start right away.

    In my mind, Cam Robinson being gone in 2022 is already in the book. I’d rather solve that problem sooner than later, and I’d rather have a quality T than have a developmental one and keep an extra fourth round pick.

    Thrilled with my draft so far. If the Jags actually did this I would be getting sloshed drunk after Day 1 of the draft concluded, in celebration, lol.

    @Swoos up for KC.

  8. Kansas City Chiefs select Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue

    Chiefs could go OL or WR here. I like the depth remaining at OL to wait and there aren’t many guys like Rondale Moore. Despite his size he plays with a lot of tenacity and strength. He is a threat to score any time the ball is in his hands. If there is anyone that could find a role for him it’s Andy Reid. This is a perfect fit for many reasons.

    This draft certainly does have good depth at OT, and more talent at the “top” than pretty much every other draft I’ve scouted. But as far as guys I’d be *comfortable with* as my primary solution at the position... they are still all likely to go in round 1. Imo there’s only one of those conceivably “safe pick” tackles left and I don’t like his tape as much as Cosmi’s

    there’s another guy getting plenty of hype as well but I don’t think he’s that great, mid to late second round is about right for that guy

    Damn I deleted my last post. This is kinda complicated now isn’t it? Cause it nullifies either @EntryLevelDave ‘s trade or @Swoos ‘s trade. And then we’d ask who @xbrokendownx would’ve taken.

  16. We can just restart

    @Swoos are you willing to stand pat with Mac Jones or a non QB at 8? If so, we can fix this.

  19. I’d probably be more willing to move up to 4 now which would erase the Pats thing and the Falcons getting Pitts at 12.
