Every single member of that 2010 team, on ice or off, should race serious repercussions for this. They won’t.
Keith, who is a fucking garbage human (see his vaccine reluctance), said earlier he didn’t participate in the investigation. Not sure if that was a refusal (likely) or wasn’t asked.
I was told (by a member of that 2010 team) that every player and staff member involved with the club that year was asked to participate.
IIRC from this thread history I know who you are referring to. I’m hoping they were doing the right thing all this time too. meanwhile
The person in question agreed to an interview and gave them all the information they could in corroborating Beach’s claims. They weren’t aware of some of the more explicit and gruesome details, but they knew a little bit about what had taken place, but being a young player at the time themselves, they too were scared of what might happen to them if they went to the higher ups about it.
I know the bar is extremely low, but it’s at least been nice to see a lot of the big time media guys not carrying water for Chicago and the NHL as a whole on this one.
Kane says he didn’t know John Doe was Kyle Beach until tonight. Quenneville not addressing the media. Cowards. Scumbags. Fuck them all.
What a crazy coincidence that all the active players didn’t know about it but all the retired ones did!
Their stories aren't even lining up. Toews basically said that he knew & wish he handled it differently now that everybody knows while Kane & Keith are just hearing of it? The Panthers should have put Q on administrative leave if his lawyers are telling him not to incriminate himself.
It's almost like the Panthers are more worried about winning than doing what they should do... so basically Q found his dream job.
What's the likelihood that Kyle Beach agrees they're good people? If I had to guess, like absolutely had to, I'd say at least below 50%.
The part of Kyle’s interview when he begins to apologize to the survivor from Michigan for not doing more. Absolutely devastating.
