The fine should be bigger and they should be losing picks. Coyotes had players take a quiz and lost picks.
Increasingly more convinced the Jones signing was Bowman salting the earth so nothing would ever grow again in the organization, knowing he was on his way out.
McDonough left the Hawks over the summer & so did their HR person. Bowman made the Jones & Fleury trades to distract everyone from the allegations. I don’t know what they can do to make this right. The player had his career ruined over this & Aldrich was allowed to continue being an abuser to the point where he served jail time. I hope the victim finds some source of closure with this but so many people had their lives ruined by this team’s inaction & everyone involved should never work in the sport again.
McD was fired rather than leaving, but if the report can be believed and the Wirtzes had no knowledge, it wasn’t over this. He is, of course, guilty as the rest of them Edit: that also happened last summer, not this one.
i forgot it was last summer, but who knows how long the team knew about this lawsuit. I just don’t think it’s a coincidence that him & others left less than 12 months before this came to light.
I too, feel for the general manager that ignored sexual assault, kept the abuser on the payroll and around the survivor for weeks, gave him a day with the Cup, allowed the abuser to assault someone else while still with the team, allowed the abuser to assault a minor and go to jail, and bus tossed his superior in a public statement because I am a whiny piss baby!

Known for a while the player in question was Beach but it obviously wasn’t my place to say anything to anyone, but wow, that interview was incredibly to difficult to watch. Immense amount of respect to him for sharing his story publicly. He didn’t owe anyone that, but hopefully it gives other survivors the courage to come forward with theirs when they’re ready.
