That Eichel situation is such a mess. Who knows what offers they are getting. They must be bad enough that carrying him through like this was more appealing or maybe doesn't really change what the offers are until further clarity is available. It's def easy to say they should have moved him, but doing that and getting an uninspiring return doesn't really move the needle for them. Tough spot to be in for sure.
