Can't put it more aptly than that, really. Jimmy was a couple years older than me, and frequently played against my brother in big games (Quincy and Dorchester had a big rivalry in youth hockey back then). But even those days, he was a kid that everyone was always talking about, players and parents. I mean I know it's just youth hockey and small potatoes in the grand scheme of things, but he was the first kid I saw step on the ice and just take over a game. Everyone knew he was going to be in the NHL. My brother just saw him on Friday. It's just so surreal and heartbreaking.
Glad this sport feels the need to give worthless pricks like this another chance. I hope the worst for him & his career.
