I really don't care what the Sabres do at this point. They're going to be absolutely awful for at least two more years, but probably longer.

That being said, they should absolutely be in contact with multiple guys that were non-tendered and offer them a short term deal with the promise of plenty of playing time to enhance their future market.

Nick Ritchie, Ondrej Kase, Ryan Donato, Pius Suter. Grab one, plug them in.

Really interested to see what Boston does in terms of goalies today. It’s pretty much assumed that Tuukka is going to be back mid season, but going into the season with Swayman/Vladar seems like a terrible idea.

Yeah I mean I certainly think it will be better than the Beleskey and Backes contracts but I hate that term. A Debrusk-Coyle-Coleman third line would be fantastic but pricey
