Detroit fans were pretty unbearable during the good years. Now they’re kind of like Steelers fans where most who still care about the team are just chill folks to talk hockey with. Rangers fans were easily the worst to deal with when I worked as a moderator for SBN. Idk if it was from DeAngelo and Lemieux Jr being on the team but they had more qanon edgelord trolls than anyone. Just horrible people and they would show up in waves.

 

I mean, you're not wrong, especially given that most rangers fans are cops from Staten Island

isles fans were also bad but they just had the biggest inferiority complex on the planet.

 

The legion of doom years were formidable for me as a flyers fan, so seeing them swept in the finals turned me into a bitter fuck. Definitely gained a lot of respect for them in the late 00's. The Blackhawks replaced them by beating the flyers and just being scumbags.

 

Worst fanbases gotta be some combo of Boston, New York and Philly

Boston fans are pretty internal with their anger. At least online. That fanbase hates their own players more than anyone. McAvoys one of the best players in the league and it took them until this year to stop dumping on him.
