I’ve seen this take floated around on Bruins Twitter, but if Bergeron retires I think it might be a good idea to trade Marchand. Still one of the two or three best left wingers in the league, three years left at an extremely affordable price, could feasibly bring back a mix of picks, prospects, and NHL ready talent.

But that of course would be a decision that has to get made by Don Sweeney, and I don’t trust him to do that
