If you find a good angle/replay post it in here. I was taking a leak when the play happened and the only view I saw was a bird’s eye view. To me that looked like a 50/50 where they didn’t see each other. Not absolving Svech of any guilt, he’s definitely our guy who crosses the line in our group.
Hopefully the goon stuff can be avoided on both sides, there’s good hockey being played here. This series is far from over, Friday night is going to be wild. If Boston can get an early one, it’ll be on like donkey kong.
I can definitely see why Boston would be upset though. Svech should be more aware of his immediate surroundings. But I’d argue the same for McAvoy tbh. Glad he didn’t appear to be injured from it and hopefully it just ends there. But it won’t lol
I’m gonna keep it 100% if Boston gets swept then Sweeney + Cassidy might get the boot, plus I feel less bad for rooting for the Jumbo Joe cup run. Shame me if you must.
real shame the oilers have all this firepower because they have easily the worst goal song in the league
He was for the first couple years but he is always late with adjustments and depth scoring dries up every year. They need a new voice.
Lol I mean I haven’t watched him play enough to make that determination, but the optics of that knee on knee hit after injuring Lindholm are not great if we are being honest though, hockey is such a fast paced physical game that is hard for me to label anyone a “dirty“ player unless they have an established history of scum bag plays (i.e. Marchand, Wilson).
I'm always a little surprised at his success in Boston because he was a horrible coach in Washington when he was younger. I thought it was going to be a disaster when Boston hired him but he's come a long way. Coaches have their shelf life unless you're Jerry York and Cassidy's probably reached his. I can see him sticking around but the Bruins ownership has higher expectations than just making the playoffs.
Well, I’ll take a 1-1 split coming back to Pittsburgh…kind of a bummer that pens are so cursed when it comes to injuries though.
