We are all very aware what earns fines and what doesn’t, but framing the middle finger as a lack of decorum in a sport where people beat the shit out of each other is very silly
I miss when K just kept his bad opinions and takes in band threads, now he’s raiding the sports forum?
Two players becoming willing combatants to solve the problem on the ice and being willing to suffer the consequences (penalty or injury) to me is a more honourable act and team minded then sticking up middle fingers while being escorted off the ice by a linesman. No issues with Hartman trying to help a guy out, especially with a guy like E Kane. There can be respect amongst players in and after a fight. The moment the finger comes out it goes from being a team guy to look at me. And it’s a small fine, just to remind players.
If you willing decide to fight someone, and they chose to fight you back, then you are making a choice. CTE is caused by repeated blows to to the head. In hockey, that is not limited to punches. You could fall to the ice and hit your head, take a puck to the head blocking a shot, collide into the boards or posts, take a stick to the head. If two players fight because someone took a dangerous and illegal hit from behind into the boards isn’t that “potentially giving someone CTE by your standard”. If knowing you may have someone try and fight you if you do that players may think twice before annihilating players from behind in vulnerable positions. I get you love the middle finger, but there was waaaaay more value in both Kane and Hartman’s post game comments then the middle finger while being escorted off the ice by a linesman.
Lol I am well aware you can get CTE multiple ways. You keep moving the goalposts so I’m gonna stop here. Have a blessed day, hopefully you don’t lose sleep about one grown man giving another the middle finger.
NHL isn’t the WWF. You give the middle finger while being skated away by linesman, you get fined. I guess I just didn’t find the act awesome like you did. Have a blessed day as well. And no worries, no sleep lost, because I don’t have to to pay money for a petty gesture.
Highlight of this Sens v Bruins game so far was the arena person playing MCR's "Honey This Mirror Isn't Big Enough for the Two of Us".
the Devils without Jack Hughes are playing @ Colorado tonight and are starting Andrew Hammond in goal if they allow less than 10 goals I will be happy
In his farewell address, Pat Foley named dropped Dale Tallon and didn't mention Bowman as the reason for the Hawks championship teams. Love it.
I could be wrong but I’m fairly positive that this has been the most goals scored in a year since the first post lockout year
They’ve been .500 since the All-Star break. In that span, the team has either blown completely hot, or completely cold. Don’t know what team will show up each night. Don’t think you’ll find many confident Canes fans heading into the playoffs.
