Probably their best game of the year right after one of their worst. I know they didn't have Malkin but whatever I'll take it.
So messed up how they can go to OT against Tampa, then get absolutely wrecked and embarrassed and then wrecked again by Pittsburgh. I feel like we have been through a lot of hell in Detroit with these Red Wings the last few years, but this is another level of carelessness that I don’t feel like they’ve displayed before. I think Blashill’s seat is finally *actually* heating up.
Yeah, it’s time. Blashill just ain’t it. There’s only so many times we can get shelled like this and hear him say the same “need to look deep into ourselves” press conference.
Meant to post this earlier and forgot but this is happening right now at the rink near my house in Florida and it's on ESPN2 if you wanna watch. I'm recording the broadcast since I'm actually in the building watching it in person.
Capitals are such a dirty team. A hit like this with 2 seconds left in a game you are losing 6-1 should honestly be a suspension.
Found this article really interesting since colorblindness isn't something I'd ever really thought about but I can't imagine how difficult it must be for people who have it let alone if they're athletes competing at the highest level.
Wild and Flyers was basically a playoff game, as the Wild eliminated the Flyers from playoff contention.
