I was gonna say, the NHL desperately needs to adopt the IIHF's rule and over time the players will adapt. But we're also dealing with one of the dumbest groups of people on the planet, so perhaps there is no hope.

Few interesting points are that the isles new arena almost got them to a billion. The 32 percent increase is the largest since 2013 (fifty percent jump due to new Canadian tv contract). The rise seen here is also primarily due to the ESPN tnt contract.

 

The pelicans are probably the closest to that, can’t think of a less successful team
