BOS and NYI only having played 21 games (and DAL and COL at just 22) seems crazy with some teams at 27.

If the nfl could make a rule to stop a dude running 30 yards and slamming into another dude, the nhl could easily do the same thing with this. The “we just don’t know how to figure out how to referee this” excuse is such complete bullshit.
It wasn't a charge though. Just make it for any initial contact to the head problem solved. The nuances are trash.
I was gonna say, the NHL desperately needs to adopt the IIHF's rule and over time the players will adapt. But we're also dealing with one of the dumbest groups of people on the planet, so perhaps there is no hope.
Saw somewhere that the NHL has lost over 100 million trying to keep these guys afloat. I don't follow any other sports does this happen anywhere else but here?
The two wealthiest teams have a combined two cups since 1967. Few interesting points are that the isles new arena almost got them to a billion. The 32 percent increase is the largest since 2013 (fifty percent jump due to new Canadian tv contract). The rise seen here is also primarily due to the ESPN tnt contract.
