... about Pac 12 expansion? I assume a lot of schools were calling on them. Big 12 is likely to fall apart, so schools want out.

Without Oklahoma and Texas, the ~$38,000,000 conference payouts to each school is going to go down quite a bit, at least 10 or 15 million less than the Pac-12 is paying out.

Pac-12 might not have any elite teams right now, but I honestly think that if you averaged teams from each conference, Pac-12 would be the second or third best conference. They're 29-11 vs. the ACC and 70-56 vs. the Big 10 in the BCS/CFP era (source: Pac 12 vs Other Conferences - topdan.com). They just don't have an Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, or Clemson to give them title hopes.

 

That’s what I’m saying, they don’t really have any teams the conference would just love to bring in haha

 

In other conference realignment news, it looks like BYU may give up being independent: The Big 12 is seriously discussing BYU, sources say, and the TV numbers are in the Cougars' favor
