Losing to Boise State doesn't make you a fraud. Fresno State is probably still a top ~40 or 50 football team.

Fresno State overachieved this season.

 

Their season isn't over. They're one game behind SDSU and Nevada in conference and have a tie-breaker over both. Those two teams play each other this weekend, so they just need the winner to drop another game. SDSU still plays Boise State and Nevada has Air Force and Colorado State.

 

Fresno State is a good program on the rise that happened to show a little more than they were capable of and maybe gave people false hope they "arrived" early.

Fresno is just so inconsistent but I also think they will start getting bad since most of the defense is seniors and they’ll be gone

 

This is probably one of the better years for the mountain west. No doubt if someone stepped up or 1 lossesd it, they would easily get into new years 6.

Fresno, sdsu, Nevada all having great seasons.
Utah state is a surprise.
Boise is still good.
And then you sprinkle a competitive Wyoming and air force

 

All in all id say that wasn't a super eventful weekend really. Msu vs osu, psu and big10 championship were the games that mattered most.

Id say the biggest loser is cincy. Not because they almost lost to tulsa but smu lost. Smu has to be as good as possible. Now undefeated cincy is getting in but if ou, oregon win out (they won'r). Or Bama beats uga in sec... They're screwed.

I still say it will be georiga vs Cincinnati, ohio state vs Oklahoma

 

please god do not let Oklahoma make it in again lol.

Yup, I'll be taking a week off my job and planning on sending my wife on a vacation so I can just be fat and play it with my buddy.

 

The only time Oklahoma played Georgia ever, in 2018, the final score was 54-48 (Georgia W).

Georgia's defense has only given up 53 points this entire season. It's safe to say their defense is AAA++ elite gold star the best ever.
