We definitely don’t deserve to still be top 10 but I will take it, just get Ty Thompson in there and we’re still alive for the ‘offs

I'm predicting the undefeated/winless teams from here cause it's better than studying.

    1. Alabama - I will never predict an Alabama loss. They win out.
    2. Georgia - Their first team defense has allowed zero touchdowns all season. There is only one offense that stands a chance - Alabama.
    3. Iowa - If they win this weekend, they win out.
    4. Penn State - Iowa, Ohio State, Michigan, and Michigan State. No chance they go undefeated.
    5. Cincinnati - UCF and SMU could be trouble but I don't think either has what it takes. Cincy wins out.
    6. Oklahoma - Nebraska held their offense in check. They've got Texas, TCU, Baylor, Iowa State, and Oklahoma State. They'll be lucky to win 10.
    9. Michigan - Big Ten East is just too good. I think they drop one.
    10. BYU - Boise, Baylor, Virginia, and USC left. They've done good so far but I don't think they can win all four of those.
    11. Michigan State - Same with Michigan and Penn State, I think the Big Ten East eats itself.
    12. Oklahoma State - Bruh how tf are they ranked 12th lol. They are on upset watch every single week. No way they win out.
    15. Coastal Carolina - They beat App State I think they go undefeated.
    16. Kentucky - This has been a nice run but I think they drop both LSU and UGA.
    19. Wake Forest - This is the darkest of dark horses but I would not be surprised to see them win out at this point.
    24. SMU - UCF and Cincy will be tests. They've looked good so far but I don't think they beat Cincy.
    25. San Diego State - This is an uphill fight. I think they can finish with 10 wins but idk i they can beat all of Boise, Fresno, San Jose, and Nevada
NR. UTSA - No chance. Barely scraping by against their FBS opponents. Could lose any of their remaining games.
NR. Wyoming - No chance. Fresno, San Jose, and Boise should all beat them.

UNLV - Tough schedule for them remaining but I could see them pulling off a win or two.
UConn - They've got UMass, Yale, and Mid Tennessee. There's at least one win here.
UMass - They've got UConn, Rhode Island, and Maine. There's at least one win here.
Arizona - I could see them going winless. Maybe Colorado or Washington State.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Still extremely upset with MSU’s handling of everything that went on and conflicted about them. Clearing out almost everyone and hiring Tucker was needed, and I’m happy he’s doing well and building something.

Should be an exciting 2nd half. Clemson sucking has opened the door for a possible new team for the playoffs.

Of course it can still be Bama, Georgia, osu and Oklahoma which...ugh... but idk. Ohio state will definitely have 2 losses. Oklahoma has to start actually losing soon right? They've sucked every week but keep winning anyway.

Would love to see a team like iowa ACTUALLY do it for once but it just never happens.

I will say there is absolutely nothing in Cincinnatis way of making the playoff. Idk if 1 loss get them in (I think it might if that loss is smu... they'll have a chance to revenge that loss in the confidence championship game) but really they should run the table

Actually idk if 1 loss get them there. Their hard games are at home. Ucf and smu at home and they avoid tricky Memphis and Houston all together.

Okay forget Iowa, come on Cincinnati, this is your chance

Also damn theres still a trillion weeks left but BYU resume is really impressive. A 1 loss byu team would definitely be in play (will they have 1 or fewer losses, i doubt it. Their schedule is tough but ya know...doable). Boise and Virginia at home, and at Washington statw...they will be favored.

So then at Baylor, at usc. Split those games and I think they have a legit gripe

    The rivalry is back on

I think this is the year undefeated Cincinnati would barely squeak in (realistically, you’ve got SEC champ and Big 10 champ as two of your slots, and then undefeated Cincy, a potential 0 or 1 loss Big 12 champ, a potential 1 loss SEC or Big 10 runner up, and a potential 1 loss ACC or PAC-12 champ vying for the other two slots, and I feel confident that at least 2 or 3 of the 6 scenarios above will play out for the last two spots)

1 loss Cincinnati has no chance and no reasonable gripe unless the field completely falls apart and they let a 2 loss team or a 1 loss Notre Dame in over them

undefeated BYU (or SMU if they upset Cincy) would need a miracle to make it over any of the scenarios above and might have a minor gripe if they’re left out, and the only people lamenting leaving out a team that splits road trips to Baylor and USC would be BYU fans

You really think so on byu? They would have wins over Baylor, Virginia, utah, Boise, Arizona state. That's a good amount of wind over bowl+ power conference teams.

Now I agree. The way I see it, theres only 1 spot.

Georgia, Alabama, and a 1 loss big ten team are all locks (between Ohio state, penn state, Michigan, Iowa, I definitely think someone will have 1 loss or better).

So it will come down to what the big 12, acc and pac. I think pac will all have 2 losses so I'm not worried about them. And I'll eat my hat if nc state or like wake doesn't have 2 losses by end of year.

    Which leaves the big 12.

I'm hoping for an undefeated Iowa, Cincy, BYU, and Wake so we can stop fucking around and expand the playoffs

Re: BYU, I agree with everything you’re saying here except that I think that Alabama OR Georgia is a lock, while an upset somewhere along the way plus a loss in the SEC Championship would knock either of those two out and it’s too early to rule that out. But probably/hopefully they both (or at least Georgia, I don’t care about Bama) make it

The issue is that in order for BYU to make it, all of this needs to happen plus Oklahoma loses 2 games, plus Cincinnati loses 1, plus the second best Big 10 team needs to lose 2 (Iowa running the table and losing the title game feels plausible enough to not rule out since their schedule lightens up significantly after the PSU game). Honestly I have no faith in the CFP to put an undefeated BYU in over a 1 loss Notre Dame either even though BYU’s resume would be more impressive.

Oklahoma does the thing every year where they look just bad enough to seemingly fall out of the playoff hunt, sit at 6 or 7, but then string together a few wins and beat an overmatched team in the championship and make it as the 4 seed and leapfrog whoever it is that was there before

Flight cancelled tonight, not going to make it to the Swamp this weekend. I don’t think this is an option for anyone else, but if you do happen to live close by and want to go see the Gators beat up on Vandy tomorrow, I’d be happy to send you some tickets for $free.99.

Not if you’re just gonna resell them tho. I can do that myself. And shame on you.

Damn, I would have jumped on this if I has seen this earlier! Unfortunately was driving from Tampa to St. Augustine last night and never saw Carpet’s mention.

Sorry you won’t make it, that’s such a bummer. I’m sure you could sell them last minute if no one else can use them.
