Yeah Bama/Georgia is basically going to be for the #1 seed with the loser still making it unless something crazy happens. It’s incredibly open besides that.

hot take: Notre Dame isn’t Cincinnati’s toughest game this year. They still have a really good SMU team and UCF on the schedule

 

Yep as well as a conference title game. Notre Dame isn’t that. On that note I hope ND loses another 2-3 games. I don’t want to see them getting a NY six bowl game over BYU or Coastal.

Coastal has the easiest schedule. I’m looking forward to their game in Boone. Don’t think they’re making it past that.

Also, if Cincy gets a CFP invite, I don’t think another G5 team gets an NY6 bowl invite. I think that’s in the contracts somewhere.

all three as one loss teams with each of those games close would really push the committee hard

 

Not gonna happen, but it’s possible…

Give it two or three weeks and the playoff picture should get clearer. There’s still two undefeated ACC teams, multiple undefeated Big 10 teams, and BYU/Cincy have to be considered if they win out.

 

undefeated BYU or coastal without a win against a ranked team wouldn’t do it for me. ACC won’t be undefeated either.

cinci for sure, and you can’t ignore an undefeated Oklahoma/Michigan/penn state. So odds are still super slim for 3 SEC unless one of those teams lose.

 

BYU already have two ranked wins… just because they’re unranked BECAUSE BYU beat them doesn’t mean they’re not ranked wins. They still have Baylor (currently ranked and undefeated) on their schedule.

 

Georgia have zero ranked wins because Clemson sucks and Arkansas is about to be unranked
