I'm not a fan of a conference that big, but there's no chance they kick out Vandy or another school.

If they expand, they need to fix conference scheduling. Some teams already play each other really infrequently.

 

If that’s the SEC, then their conference dominance would be even more insane. They have 5 teams that would contend annually for the championship - AM, OU, Georgia, Bama, and maybe LSU. The other conferences have 2 combined - OSU, Clemson. Maybe ND, but I think they’re huge choke artists and not legit.

AAC remaining the 5th conference with what, Wake, Fresno, SDSU, Coastal, Louisiana, Liberty, Houston....uh....promote NDSU? Lol

Texas sucks ass in the Big 12. They’d get their skulls crushed in if they were in the SEC but I guess the TV money makes up for the embarrassment they’d be on the field

 

It would def be a recruiting boost for them, which would help translate to better performance. Recruits going to Texas to play in the SEC and go play in Athens, Tuscaloosa, Death Valley, and Gainesville is a hell of a lot more appealing than anywhere Texas plays now.

that’s why AM is so opposed - it’s nice being the only Texas school that can offer the sec experience

I’m sure there are others (Mike Leach?) but Washington State’s coach refuses to get vaccinated for “personal reasons” so he can’t travel to LA for media day (or something like that). Feel like that’s gonna just continue to be a shitshow as the season goes on

 

schools across the country are mandating the vaccine for students, so i can't imagine they wouldn't mandate it for employees as well.

 

that’s what I thought but hadn’t googled it to see if there were exceptions but WSU’s coach isn’t getting it and as of now still is the coach. Will be interesting to see what happens the next few weeks. If he doesn’t get fired would he have to coach from the press box like some coordinators do? Seems like more of a headache and questions that kids will be asked about that they shouldn’t have to answer, just get the fucking shot(s).
