I'd add Grayson McCall at Coastal Carolina as another small school QB to watch.

 

Iirc he's not eligible for this draft, which is why I left him out. Otherwise, I agree. Big fan.

Malik Willis (Liberty) and Matt Corral (Ole Miss) are two that I’d maybe consider in the top 5 over someone like Jurkovec. But also definitely I’d put Rattler in the top 3

 

Haven't watched enough of Willis to say much either way but just going off numbers, yeah, he's better than Jurkovec. Corral threw 10 INTs in like 2 games. I gotta see him not do that this year. Rattler I'm just not sold on. We'll see

 

those 2 games were Not Great, but Corral threw a combined 3 in the other games of the season and that included games against Alabama, Florida, and Indiana

He’s a big wildcard for me and idk if I’m all the way sold on him. It’s not too hard to squint and see year 2 of Corral in Lane Kiffin’s system going very very well and him being one of the biggest draft risers. But the flip side is, it’s also not hard to see a Lane Kiffin team being a complete train wreck and Corral getting caught in the crossfire

 

Yeah I did like what I saw from Corral when he was hot but 10 in two games is rare bad. I'm really excited for this season haha

 

Willis is legit, but Liberty's 2021 schedule is super weak. There's a super high probability they're undefeated come November.

 

Grayson McCall will be eligible for the 2022 draft class. He's a redshirt sophomore.

12! Yes. Thats the exact number I was looking at (I would've loved 6 more but alas)

But wow wow wow I've been pushing this exact scenario for years. Insentive to win every game to get the bye....and home field advantage in a sport where that means a lot.

You make the conference title games must watch TV. A non power school gets a chance..

Anything but 8 has been my thing for a long time

 

Bama's going on a revenge tour. They've scheduled a few home-and-homes with teams they have losing records against historically:

Oklahoma State in 2028 & 2029
Boston College in 2031 & 2034
Notre Dame rescheduled to 2029 & 2030
