super cool, but tbh super expecting to find out in 4-5 years that there was “cheating” or “illegal gifts” or some shit to get some of these players to go there. Seems to happen every time a small school starts getting recruits

 

Also, with every sport going down with covid cases I’m worried how many kids that want to play in bowl games may not be able to. No way every college football team escapes this

given everything, this is a great first impression for Napier. Signing day was supposed to be a huge bust, and he pulled out a few rabbits.

I don’t blame any athlete who sits out a bowl game, but it blows my mind people are sitting out NY6 games. Just expand the damn playoff and give them more incentive to play.

 

What is the incentive to play in a non-playoff game? Unless it's like, straight cash payment, if I'm a top 2 round pick in the draft, not a chance would I be risking more exposure to covid through extensive travelling as well as just your standard injuries just to win some archaic bowl game that really doesn't matter

 

What incentive is there for high level prospects to put their careers at risk in a 3-4 round playoff just so that the universities can make more money that won’t be shared with the players under the guise of a newfound fabricated “purpose” to playing those games?

Alright. I'm starting off with a small upset with mtsu . I was kinda shocked at how much toledo was favored by. 10? Its one of the bigger spreads of the bowl season, but I don't see toledo has that much better.

Usa teams always tend to do good in these things, while mac always suck.

Good point, i'd sit out the playoff too, to be honest. a regular season + the rest of my college career is enough film for the NFL to decide.
