Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve really been surprised at how accepting (for lack of a better word that I can’t think of) Shaq is of players being at his level or better than him. Maybe it’s still, after all these years, having espn burn into my brain the whole “Shaq vs Kobe” thing that made me think that Shaq would never admit or say anyone was like him / at his level / better than him but for the most part Shaq has not been “old man that yells at cloud” as he ages
