If I'm Brooklyn I absolutely do not take any offers from Boston that don't include Smart, unless it's Tatum and Brown. I love that Durant thinks they're going to both meet his trade request and accept a lesser package in return. He claims not to like the team's direction, but they actually don't look too shabby on paper. Simmons is the defensive stopper Harden never was, and they've got enough shooters to compensate for his deficiencies there. T.J. Warren and Royce O'Neal are nice additions, plus Joe Harris will be back.

 

If Durant is gonna pull a Simmons and not play until he gets traded, and he tells other teams he won’t play for them if they trade for him, he certainly can leverage the Nets into accepting less from the Celtics… however, as a Celtics fan I wouldn’t even do JB for him straight up, idc if people think that’s dumb, Tatum and Brown both still have plenty of time to grow and the addition of Brogdon is good enough

 

he needs to go to a team that has a strong alpha already for it to not blow up. That's why Golden State worked that's why going to a place like Miami, Phoenix, Los Angeles or Milwaukee (just quick examples) would work

It's a silly thing, but I hate how Nike cuts the arm trim off on all the jerseys. The throwback designs are particularly glaring. It feels like them just doing something different to try and make it their own, like putting those stripes down the back of the NBA socks. No thanks.
