AD and Russ should not be on that list. Paul Pierce is questionable too, but that's probably just because I don't like him. I'm iffy on Dame, but he has had so many memorable moments since he entered the league that I'm okay with it.

 

I'm way more OK with Russ being on the list than most. AD over Howard is a joke. Bill Walton also shouldn't be on there but he was on the initial 50, so I guess that decision was made 25 years ago

It’s weird cause if Howard would have retired after Houston, he’s probably seen better by everyone.

 

Kind of eerie that Jackie McMullen like two days ago on Bill’s podcast raised the question of wondering if Simmons would say he can’t play for mental health reasons as a way to kind of pause the situation and then he comes out and says that. I know she’s in the know but idk I don’t think she knew in advance that’s what he would do.

 

I know it’s not exactly the same and the players output is totally different and the fan bases are totally different but amazing that Aaron Rodgers basically said “fuck this franchise and everyone that’s not a player for this franchise, trade me” this off-season and all that happened was some fans grumbling on Twitter. And it’s seemingly known by all that Rodgers is gone after the year is done but there’s no known animosity by fans.

Ben Simmons plays like shit in the playoffs, coach doesn’t defend him, Ben says he wants a trade, the team wants to trade him and fans are… so irate at Ben they need to put up a taller fence??
